Human experimentation for the sake of technological progress?!

The human race has always sought rational and irrational ways to become well fitted for the purpose as responsible and progressive intellectual beings. Always strived to improve it's living conditions and heighten the survival rate. Research and development of connecting technologies has become a big resource of benefit. Big money is involved in the shared vision of where the industry is heading and the complementary roles each company want to play or fight over market control. This means that some people unwillingly have to pay a high price for progress to become reality. A progress that is withheld from general circulation or full disclosure.

Tending to civilize human experimentation (HE) intentionally disregards law and ethics. Are existing laws providing sufficient defense against experiments done without consent? What chance do a person stand in the court of law when making a case against the government, industry and military for illegal experimentation? And to make the matter worse, how does a victim take legal action when statements or proofs are non admissible as testimony in a lawcourt.

Most human rights organizations, healthcare personnel, politicians and lawmakers seem to be unaware of what type of HE that are in operation. Even less, how to handle it and what it means, to their respective profession. A broader investigation is needed to reveal the consequences for the victims and society in general.

Lawmakers in congress raise their eyebrows when bills to mature HE competency in new areas has led them into a series of unrealistic price and schedule proposal. Tailoring the requirements and shooting for a less rigorous capability demonstration could also convince lawmakers to follow intelligence needs.

The strategy has been to reduce complexity - capability overlaps organizational duplication and create clear ownership for results. The new practices will drive the Pentagon and intel community to make though choices on it's technology priorities.

It may be observed that there is no way to put an end to development and implementation of high-tech into our society. Therefore it is of great importance to keep oneself as informed as possible in the area of new development and science. Specially when it comes to mind & brain related technologies and advanced military warfare methods. HE will continue to be a unwanted part of research and development and a constantly returning issue.
